In response to the State of Emergency declared by the federal, state and county governments related to the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak, the Village of Chester Board of Trustees has instructed that all Village Offices, including the offices of the Village Clerk, the Village Justice Court Clerk, Building/Planning/Zoning office, and the Street and Water Departments will be closed to the public, beginning Friday, March 20,2020, through Friday, April 3, 2020.
Village employees, with exceptions for those whose attendance is essential, will be working from home or on an on-call basis.

We urge all our residents to follow the Center for Disease Control guidelines regarding hygiene and isolating.

Residents will have access to front entrance only M-F 9:00AM-5:00PM to use drop box for payment of water and/or sewer bills. NO CASH will be accepted. CHECK OR MONEY ORDER ONLY or you can PAY ON-LINE by visiting the Village’s website.
There will be no face-to-face meetings with any employees of the Village of Chester unless appointments are specifically arranged in advance and approved in advance by the Mayor.
